2008 is a center of excellence for imparting quality education at undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and post-doctoral levels in Planning and Architecture.

to Doctoral and PG courses in Architecture and Planning for the year 2014

Master of Architecture (Conservation)
Master of Landscape Architecture
Master of Urban Planning
Master of Planning (Urban and Regional Planning)

Eligibility
Minimum qualification required is Masters Degree in Architecture/Planning Technology/Design disciplines or equivalent degree with minimum 60% (OR) B.Arch/B.Plan Degree with minimum 60% marks‚ minimum five years of professional experience and at least one publication in Journal Conference proceedings
The admissions eligibility requirements of minimum marks may be relaxed to 55% to the reserved categories.
Fellowship: The School has provision for fellowship for full time candidates. To be considered for the fellowship an applicant should have a valid GATE Score or Govt. /Non Govt Fellowship/Scholarship.
Post Graduate Courses
Postgraduate Programs in Architecture (M.Arch): Candidates should be B.Plan with minimum one year experience or B.Arch‚ both with minimum 55% marks in aggregate
Postgraduate Programs in Planning (M.Plan): Candidates should have minimum 55% marks in aggregate in B.Arch/B.Plan (OR) B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering (OR) M.Sc/M.A. in (Geography/Economics/Sociology)
Fellowship for Postgraduate Programs:
1) All candidates with valid GATE/NET score will be eligible as per G.O.I norms
2) Candidates without GATE/NET score will be eligible to apply for Institute. Fellowship / Research assistantship available from time to time on the basis of merit
How to apply
Candidates should download the application form from the website (www.spabhopal.ac.in)‚ attach attested copies of educational testimonials and send at “Assistant Registrar (Admissions)‚ School of Planning and Architecture‚ Bhopal‚ Present Campus: Sports‚ Complex‚ MANIT Bhopal”‚ Madhya Pradesh-462051
The following documents (if applicable) should be enclosed along with the application form:
iSelf attested copy of valid GATE score or UGC/NET fellowship
ii) Self attested copy of final mark lists & Degree Certificate of the qualifying examination
iii) In the case of candidates who have appeared or will be appearing in the qualifying examination‚ self attested copies of the latest marksheets are to be submitted. Final marksheets and provisional degree certificate are required to be submitted by 15th Sept.-2014‚ (if admitted) failing which admission will be cancelled
iv) Self attested copy of proof of date of birth
v) Self attested copy of certificate in the case of SC/ST candidates from a Competent Authority (Not bellow rank of a Tahsildar)
vi) Self attested copy of certificate in the case of OBC candidates from a Competent Authority (not below the rank of a Tahsildar)
vii) Self attested copy of experience certificate
viii) Research proposal (use separate sheets‚ 500 words approximately for Doctoral Program)
ix) Statement of Purpose (use separate sheets‚ 200 words approx for Masters Programs)
x) Sponsorship certificate duly filled by the Sponsoring Authority (with the seal of the Sponsoring Authority) in the prescribed format
xi) Self attested copy of proof of all research publications in journal and conference
xii) Demand draft towards application fee as per the category of the candidate
Application Fee:
For Master Degree Programme‚ a candidates can apply for Single Programme with a requisite application fee of Rs.1000/- (for Gen/OBC) Rs.500/- (for SC/ST/PWD) and for more than one Programme (upto all five) Rs.2000/- (for Gen/OBC)‚ Rs.1000/- (for SC/ST/PWD) on a single application form
For Doctoral Programme; a candidates can apply with a requisite application fee of Rs.1000/- (for Gen/OBC)‚ Rs.500/- (for SC/ST/PWD)
