| De Souza Trust Goa Scholarship : Introduction
De Souza Trust Goa Scholarship and the Goa Education Trust (GET) Scholarship
is awarded for the young inventive Goan students for their post graduate
studies in the United Kingdom. Administrated by the British council, this
scholarships has been introduced from the year 1998.
Organised by the industrious Dempo and Fomento groups from Goa, Goa
Education Trust (GET) aimed to provide the Goan citizens an efficient
medium to pursue the best available opportunities in the field of education,
in whatever areas they desire. For that, GET will provide scholarships/
research fellowships etc. to the eligible candidates for their post graduate
studies in the UK.
The De Souza Trust Goa Scholarship is intended to provide financial support
for self-motivated dynamic young people of Goan origin or for those holding
Goan domicile, to study or train in the UK. The subsidize to the scholarship
is from the estate of Mr. Diego Frank De Souza.
The scholarships are awarded for the study in diverse subjects like :
- Media Management
- Architecture
- Education
- Computing and Design
- TV documentary
- Music Therapy
- Fashion Technology
- Architectural Conservation and Human Rights
- Communication Systems and Signal Processing
- Innovation Technology
- Law
The scholarships are fully valued for :
• Full or part tuition fees
• UK Visa
All other expenses must be borne by the students.
