Location :  The University is situated in Edinburgh which is the historic capital city of Scotland. 

International Students :  Excellent teaching and a good support is given to the International students. Courses at undergraduate and post graduate level in the department are quite small and have attracted students from overseas. International students predominate the research student compliment, having students from eight different countries.

Courses : Four courses are offered at undergraduate level

• B.Sc Mathematical Science
• B.Sc Mathematics with Financial Studies
• B.Sc Mathematics with Technology
• B.Sc Mathematics with Computer

All courses require four year study to honour degree level with certificate, diploma and degree's at earlier stages. 

At post graduate level, there is a one year M.Sc course in Applied Statistics 

Accommodation : University offers in excess of 1000 places in halls of residence which compliments the huge number of private accommodation in a city renowned for its tourist and academic communities. 

Note : The department welcomes enquiries to carry out research programmes at MPhil and PhD level. English language courses are on offer both prior to study commencing in during the academic year.

Other Details : The department offer two scholarships for overseas students. The university offer more substantial scholarships for students from South East Asia.
