NMAM Institute of Technology

NMAM Institute of Technology was established in 1986. The college is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and is recognised by the All India Council for technical Education, New Delhi. Institute is accredited by National Assessment & Accreditation Council [NAAC] with 'A' grade with a CGPA of 3.11 out of 4 & all the UG programs are applied for re-accreditation by National Board for Accreditation [NBA]. Institute has applied for re-accreditation for Masters in Business Administration (MBA) program by NBA. Institute is certified to the ISO 9001-2015 standards for quality education by NVT Quality Certifications (ANAB accredited). The institution has been granted Academic Autonomy under the Visvesvaraya Technological University from 2007-08.

All the department are connected to the Fiber-Optic backbone of Campus Network. All the academic area and the hostel blocks are Wi-Fi enabled. Student information systems and academic repositories are available to the students on Intranet as well as online. The Central library of the College has over 60000 volumes and subscribes to over 250 general and technical journals (both foreign and Indian). It is equipped with digital library facilities with a subscription to large number of e-journals through INDEST and DELNET.
 
 Hostel Facility
More than 50% of the students stay at Hostels. Multiple hostel blocks equipped with every basic facility are available at 4 different locations inside the campus. Separate hostel blocks are available for the Boys and Girls, UG and PG students. Every hostel block complex runs separate vegetarian and non-vegetarian mess. Exclusive cultural events, self development programs, academic support activities for the hosteliers are conducted in regular basis. All the hostel blocks are covered by Campus Wi-Fi network.

Campus recruitments at NMAMIT first began in 1994 with Kirloskar Snydergeneral as the first company to visit campus recruiting two students. Wipro selected two in 1995. In 2000-01, over 150 students were selected in campus interviews. The year 2004-05 saw more than 248 students getting selected with 100% placement for civil engineering students.
