GGR College of Engineering (GGRCE) was established in 2001 unter the initiative and impetus of the Chairman of Vengammal Educational & Charitable Trust. College situated at Vellore in the calm outskirts, 6km of CMC and 12km of Katpadi Railway Station, accords a new profile to the display in a pollution free, serene and peaceful atomsphere conductive for learning.
GGR College of Engineering is established in the Year 2001-02 by Vengammal Educational & Charitable Trust, Vellore - 632004. Approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi with a F.No.732-52-375(E)/ET/2001 dated 02.07.2001 and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The College has 25 acres of Land, Situated in Chennai-Bangalore Highway at Vellore in the calm outskirts and a green environment. The College is 6KM off CMC and 12 KM off KATPADI Junction and has constructed area of about 22749 Sq.m with spacious and fully furnished, modern Class Rooms / Tutorial Halls / Library / Workshop/ Various Laboratories/ research laboratories for all the departments with excellent infrastructure, facilities that was needed by the technical students to enhance their knowledge through practice and to serve the society with current trend.
The Institution has highly qualified and meritorious faculty members in all the departments to impart Technical Knowledge to the Students and taking various steps to mould the student to meet the requirement and expectation by the corporate sector.
GGR College of Engineering has 7 UG Courses and 2 PG Courses. Admission Qualification, Eligibility and Fees structure are prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The Curriculum and Syllabi are as prescribed by Anna University, Chennai.
Hostel Facility
There are separate hostels for boys and girls.
