P.M.R. Engineering College is a self financing Engineering College functioning from the academic year 2008. The Institution is managed by the P.M.R. Educational Trust a philanthropic organization for providing quality engineering education. The College has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education vide file No.06/05/T.N/ENGG/2007/32 dt. 7th March 2008 & affiliated to Anna University, Chennai vide Lr. No. CAI / 1775 / AFFLN / 2008-09 / New College dt. 26th June 2008.
Library: Institute library has around 5,000 books covering all disciplines of engineering. . There are Slide Projector and other allied equipments in the Audio - Visual library. Under the web consortium, the library provides on-line access to a large number of full-text journal databases from various publishers. These e-journals are accessible on intranet to campus users only.
Transport: College Bus facilities are provided from various destinations to ensure safe and comfortable journey and time management. Bus facilities to the college premises from all Nearby Towns have been arranged.
Cafeteria: The College has spacious canteen facility in the college premises. A variety of south indian food and snack items are provided to the students and staff of the college at highly subsidized rates with highest quality.
