SCT Institute of Technology was established by Shanthi Charitable Trust with due approval of AICTE, New Delhi and Govt of Karnataka. SCT Institute of Technology is ideally located in a sprawling campus of over 10 acres in Vignan Nagar, just 14 Kms from the heart of Bangalore; i.e., BMTC's central bus station.
Transportation: Transport facilities are provided to the students and faculty through a fleet of luxury buses driven by experienced drivers.
Canteen: SCT has a well maintained and very hygienic canteen for the students providing beverages, snacks and light meals at subsidised rates.
Sports: At SCT, sports activity is a routine affair. The football and cricket fields buzz with regular practice sessions. Apart from this Volley ball, Throw ball and Badminton tournaments are also conducted annually.
Among indoor games, facilities exist for carom, chess, table tennis etc. Some of our students have represented university teams in the past. Students undergo regular fitness training sessions under the supervision of the Physical Director.
Hostel Facility
Separate hostel facilities exist for boys and girls. Decently furnished rooms are allotted on sharing basis to ensure comfortable stay. The hostels maintain a congenial atmosphere with airy rooms and pleasant interiors. They serve hot, hygienic and nourishing food. The Girls’ hostel is located within the college campus for assured security.
The Placement Cell plays a vital role in forging fruitful and mutually beneficial linkages with industries and professional organizations. It liaises with various industries and associations to facilitate training, getting live projects as well as providing placement assistance to students. The cell also ensures an active interaction with the industry by organizing guest lectures and seminars. Our students have also found placement in prominent companies like Bajaj Alliance, Wipro, HDFC Bank, Jotun Paints, Ernst&Young, Brain Booth Inc etc.
