Swamy Abedhanandha Polytechnic is an entrenched Institution having credibility in the field of education since 1984, with core competency in producing world class students in various branches of Engineering. The Institute is affiliated to Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. We have nearly adequate number of class rooms, Laboratories and Workshops with required equipments, Library, Media Library, Audio Visual Lab with OHP and LCD Projectors, Hostels, Canteen and Transport facilities etc.
The library has 15000 technical books of Indian and Foreign Authors. A large number of Indian and Foreign technical journals are available. The library also has a large collection of CD’s on technical and management subjects for the use of staff and students. Enough space is provided for students to go through Library books
 
 Hostel Facility
The hostel with accommodation of 750 students is available within the Polytechnic campus. Separate hostels for 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year are available. The hostel is intended to be a ‘HOME AWAY FROM HOME’ with an academic atmosphere where the amenities like PCO, STD is provided to have a homely environment. Study hour is provided daily for hostel inmates. The students live as one community devoted to learning.

We have a placement cell for final year students of all branches of Engineering. The students opting for placement (except those opted for higher studies) are permitted to attend Campus Interview conducted by various organizations. Nearly 80% to 90% of the willing students are well placed in suitable jobs every year. For the past four years, we had 100% placement for final year passed out students of Civil, Mechanical & Electronics-Robotics Engineering Departments. For other branches the placement varies from 60% to 80%.
