Ranganathan Engineering College (REC), Coimbatore was established in the year 2007 for providing quality technical education to the young minds of the state. It is run by Ranganathan Institutions along with two other Educational Institutions and it is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by AICTE.
REC Central Library: Supports the institute’s program of study and research. Institute Archives, offer access to a wide range of materials, both printed and electronic. The collection includes: More than 23750 Books, 179 Journals in that 75 International Journals, 1250 plus CD's, Digital Library with 15 computers.
Transport: 10 Buses from the College help daily commuters travelling to the college. The buses are operated with a 50-km radius and bring in students from all over Coimbatore. The College is well connected to all parts of Coimbatore by its own transport services and public transport system
