Chetana’s Ramprasad Khandelwal Institute of Management and Research was inaugurated on 28th August 1981 with an objective of not only imparting quality management education but also for the overall personality development of the students. “CHETANA” has come a long way in achieving these objectives and in a short span of time, the Institute has carved a niche for itself in the field of Management Education and Research emerging as one of the premier B-schools amongst the top B-schools in the country.
Library:It is well stocked over 19,186 books and audio-visual materials. It has subscription to over 100 (72 Indian, 28 International), periodicals and business magazines. The large database of annual reports of companies, handbooks, encyclopedias and product profiles, etc. is managed by a software package called ‘SLIM++’ of the finest economic database which enables students to effectively carry out a well-researched project. E-Journal – Chetana’s library has also subscribed for Online Database from EBSCO Publishing. This gives access to 11,000 Full Time Journals & 500 Abstract Journals. One of the greatest assets of our institute is our excellent library.
IT Facilities: The state of the art computer lab is well equipped with 120 HP (Intel-Core) Computers, IBM Server (Windows), Laptops, Printers and Scanners. Our Gateway to the Internet is through Tata Communications with 48 Mbps. The lab is also subscribed to ‘CRISIL Research‘, ‘Prowess’, ‘Industry Analysis Services’, ‘Business Beacon’ the powerful and versatile electronic corporate database from CMIE. For Statistical Analysis we use SPSS. The students have access to this excellent facility complimented by 24 hour internet connectivity with Wi-Fi that is enabled all over the campus.
Auditorium: The auditorium at Chetana’s has been ergonomically designed to provide the right ambiance for guest lectures, seminars, workshops, and panel discussions.
