Founded as a School in 1837 in the black town of Madras, the Madras Christian College was built and its character shaped by a host of Scottish missionaries such as Anderson and Miller, Hogg and Boyd. It is a matter of pride that the institution is ranked among the Top Ten Liberal Arts and Science Colleges in India and also received the Rating of A+ (equivalent to 90-95%) by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
Madras Christian College has always been one of the most preferred sources for campus recruitment for Corporates and other recruiters, both Indian and Overseas. It is a matter of pride that the Alumni of Madras Christian College are now business heads, and even global leaders. Generally, campus interviews start in the month of September and go upto early March each year. Selection process starts in the morning and ends by the evening with the offer letters being issued to selected candidates.
