CHEBROLU HANUMAIAH INSTITUTE OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES (CHIPS) was established in the year 2005 by the well known Philanthropic Society, Nagarjuna Education Society. The Society is also running another 8 Prestigious Institutions like R.V.R & J.C. College of Engineering & J.K. C. College in the Guntur District. CHIPS is one of the well developing Institution under the able management of N.E.S offering Courses like B. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy. It is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University and approved by A.I.C.T. E & P.C. I, New Delhi. The college is established in a spacious and ambient three storied building at Chowdavaram adjacent to R.V.R & J.C. College of Engineering. The Institute has got excellent infrastructure with well equipped Laboratories, Pilot plant, Instrumentation Lab, Medicinal Plant Garden, Animal House, Drug Museum, Computer and Language Lab and an excellent digital library facilities lead the students to undergo intense training on their course curricular and with the eminent & expertised faculty, the students are inspired and guide to carryout Research Projects in the thrust areas of Pharmacy. CHIPS, thus inherited the legacy of Nagarjuna Education Society, R.V.R & J.C. College of Engineering. and J. K. C College and had grown into a self sufficient Institution with buildings, Laboratories and Human resources, exceeding the norms and standards of AICTE and PCI, in the very second year of its existence. Today, it offers B. Pharm and M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics) and M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Analysis). Quality teaching and administration are the traditional strengths of N.E.S run Institutions and falling in live CHIPS secured the highest results in the first year of existence itself and bagged several top ranks.
