MGIaS, is the first higher education institute recognised as a 'Centre with Potential for Excellence' by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Rajasthan.The institute is affiliated to the University of Rajasthan. Courses offered by MGIaS in Microbiology, Biotechnology and other branches of applied sciences help students to gain in-depth knowledge of the subject, and the real-life applications enhance their employability.
Laboratories: MGIaS has 15 laboratories for subjects pursued in postgraduate programs. These include: Sophisticated Instrumentation Laboratories, Modern Automated Tissue Culture Laboratories and Growth Chambers, Microbiological, Biochemical and Chemical Research Laboratories.
Library : The library has a vast collection of books, journals, audio & video recordings, e-books and printed reference works. It stocks books by Indian and foreign authors on various subjects. The library also subscribes to periodicals, research journals, newspapers and magazines.
Hostel Facility
The institute has separate well-furnished hostel for boys and girls. It strives to ensure that the food and living conditions are wholesome.
