NIMS college of Nursing has been credited for “putting patients first” and following moto “Love to serve”. NIMS College of Nursing started functioning in the year 2009 with an annual intake of 40 B.Sc Nursing students with consistent high standards of excellence aimed by the institution in accordance with Chairman Dr. A.P Majeed khan and Managing Director Mr. Faizal khan, carefully selected teaching faculty faculty with meritorious accomplishments, we have started post graduate degree programme (M.Sc Nursing) in the branch of Medical Surgical Nursing (cardio thoracic) Affiliation NIMS College of Nursing is approved by Government of Kerala by its G.O.M.S No 1378/2008/H&FW, Recognized by INC No. 18-16/3324-INC, Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council No G.3060/2009/NC dated 02/07/2009 , Kerala University No. ACB/new college/2009/10 dated 19.01.2011, and affiliated to KUHAS No. 959/ac/nur/2010/Kuhas, Thrissur.
NIMS College of Nursing is attached to NIMS hospital which is a 350 bedded super specialty hospital

LIBRARY :A well equipped central Library with huge volume of books with National and International Total Books - 2500, Total Journals: 15

LAB FACILITIES :
FUNDAMENTALS OF NURSING :Fundamentals Lab is well equipped with adequate and modern instruments, manikins and mobile CPR model on which students are allowed to practice their procedures before encountering the patients.
CHILD HEALTH NURSING :Child Health Nursing has all the modern amenities with paediatric manikins and all the necessary articles needed for the students to perform their Child Health care procedure
MATERNITY HEALTH NURSING LAB :The lab is equipped with manikins models of pelvis, fetal swell, placenta and spongy fetus to practice different mechanism of labor. It is also equipped with variety of instruments and labor kits.
COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING LAB :Community lab is equipped with adequate community lab, instruments, A V AIDS, Family folders
NUTRITION LAB :Crochery, adequate fuel and stove is available for the cookery practice. Cereals, pulses, vegetables, fruits and other groceries are made available as and when it is required.
BIOCHEMISTRY & MICROBIOLOGY :A separate lab is available in the campus. It is well equipped with latest and modern equipped instruments.
ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY LAB :A separate lab is available with skeleton, bones and different specimen.
COMPUTER LAB :A state of the art computer lab with Internet facility and Spss package.
 
 Hostel Facility
The college provides separate hostels for girls and boys giving them comfortable lodging and boarding facilities. Hostels have 24 hrs. security. Both the boys and girls hostels are having well experienced Wardens and Supervisor.
