S.H school of Nursing started in the year 1994 aims at educating the women folk,keeping in minds saying “the hands that rock the cradle rules the world and its rules well”.We help the Nursing students to experience compassionate love of God & share it with the poor and forlorn.Thus with unshakable faith S.H sisters strive towards glorifying the sacred heart of Jesus and transmitting to people –rich & poor nations-far and wide the compassionate love of Jesus. In the year 2015 GNM programme is upgraded to B,Sc.Nursing programme.
The Thiruhrudaya College of nursing ,the fruit of toil and hard work of S.H sisters. The College of Nursing is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences Thrissur and recognized by Indian Nursing Council and Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council. The College has the infrastructure facilities and excellent learning situation. The students can acquire knowledge and skill in an atmosphere where they can avail it from various sources as they wish.On 20th August 2015 the dream to upgrade the General Nursing and Midwifery to baccalaureate programme was relized by admitting 40 candidates for the academic year 2015-2016.
LIBRARAY: The Institute has an extensive library with over 2,000 books. The college subscribes to various national and international journals. The library is fully digitalised with open access system, reprographic facilities and the internet and is open to the students from 8 am to 6.00 pm. The campus is Wifi enabled.
