The School of Computer and Systems Sciences laid the foundation in the late 1970's to initiate the academic programs in the realm of computer science. It was amongst the earliest centers in India for higher education and research in the field. To meet the demands of growing curiosity and to fulfill the need of competent software professionals at home and abroad, our School has been acting as a beacon under its resolute load-star ever since its inception.
Library:The library shelving 5 lakh books and more than 50000 volumes.The Library also subscribes around 1000 journals, around 1000 serial the real Mc-coy, to quench the thirst of knowledge of its contemporary research scholars from international and national arena. Besides fertilizing the talents of university through physical study materials, it provides the virtual study material in the form of floppy, CD-ROM of books and internet.
Labs:The labs are equipped with a Window server, Web Server, Linux Server, Sun Solaris Machines and around 100 windows/Linux based systems. In addition 8085 Microprocessor kits are available. The Servers in the labs are connected to 1 Gbps LAN. The labs also have scanners and network Laser printer in order to provide adequate scanning and printing facilities to students. The labs are also equipped with the latest software’s catering to the academic needs of the school.
The Training and Placement Cell of SC&SS provides the opportunity to the students by interacting with the industries at various platforms, whether it is on-job training, in-house projects or final placements of the students.
