The Meenakshi Ammal Arts and Science College (MAASC) is sponsored and managed by Meenakshi Ammal Trust (MAT). The members of the Trust are eminent personalities in various walks of life such as Education, Research, Industry, and Administration. The Trust has dedicated itself to the cause of education with special attention to technical education to the socially and economically backward communities.
Library : The College library functions in an exclusive two storied building with amazing infrastructural facilities. A good collection of books and journals (Indian and Foreign) on each and every discipline offered is a standing testimony for it. In addition, reference books, periodicals, magazines, the back volumes, thesis reports, etc are also available. The operations of the library are computerized. Book bank facilities are also available for economically backward students such as SC/ST students under government aided schemes.
canteen : A canteen is functioning within the premises of the college to serve hygienically prepared food to the staff and students.

Hostel Facility
Separate hostel accommodation for girls and boys are available. The ladies hostel houses around 240 girls. It has an independent kitchen, mess, health equipments, common room with telephone facilities etc., The gents hostel accommodates upto 600 boys with a separate mess. Considerable stress is laid on a clean environment.
