Guru Nanak Khalsa Institute of Technology and Management Studies (GNKITMS), the oldest institute of its kind in Haryana, came into existence in 1998 to run MCA programme with an intake of 30 seats. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.  It is one of the premier institutions which has been the best feeder of IT education to the students of the nation and plays a vital role in grooming IT professionals who may compete anywhere across the globe and serve the multinational companies in the best possible manner in India and abroad.

The institute is having excellent infrastructure with fully air conditioned computer labs and round the clock Internet facility, AC classrooms with wi-fi projectors and well stocked AC library. It can also boast of having well qualified and experienced faculty to groom the students in best possible manner.

GNKITMS has a Central Training and Placement Cell, which is housed in the MCA Block. GNKITMS has conducted various activities like Joint Campus Recruitment Drives of top IT companies like Daffodil Software Ltd., Gurgaon and Campus Placements of various IT companies like Core Database Systems Pvt Ltd., Noida. Right from the beginning the placement activities are going on at GNKITMS. Some significant Training and Placement activities being conducted by GNKITMS Training and Placement Cell at regular intervals include IT Aptitude Tests, Group Discussions, Extempore, Mock Interviews, Brainstorming Sessions, Industrial Visits and these activities are being conducted with the sole motive of preparing the students for various top IT company test and interviews and facing the competitive world. We are pleased to announce that maximum of our previous batch students have been placed in various well reputed IT companies.
