The Sponsored Teachers Training College was established with an aim to impart proper career training to the educated youth of this region in the field of education and also to enable the potential teachers to understand the spirit, nature, and purpose of Higher/Secondary Education. This College has earned the reputation of being a pioneer institution for Teacher Training in the State of West Bengal.
There are 6 well-equipped laboratories in the college and the instruments are upgraded with time. The students also have access to modern tools in the laboratory and workspace. The Assembly Hall Building inside the campus serves as a Seminar cum Assembly Hall with a seating capacity of 150. The library provides a peaceful environment for the students to prepare for their exams.
