Attri College of Education for Girls

The College is located in a pollution free, easily approachable place, hardly 500 meters from the National highway from Chandigarh to Ambala on a link road to Radha swami sat sang road. It is 12 Kms from DeraBassi, 10 Kms from Ambala.Attri College of Education for Girls, Lalru Mandi duly recognised by N.C.T.E., Jaipur and Affiliated with Punjabi University, Patiala.Attri College of Education for Girls has been started for the noble cause of education. The institution has been started with a mission to provide education for excellence through rich resources of library and well-equipped laboratories. The computer laboratory and the language-learning laboratory are some of the unique features for ensuring pupil teacher’s proficiency in computer and language skills. The effectiveness of the practical classroom practitioners will be ensured through the micro lesson sessions with feedback session through CCTV as well as from the peer group comments for subsequent improvement. This way the purpose of the study will shift from mere theoretical orientation to the preparation of practical classroom practitioners. The tutorials, group discussions, brain storming sessions and seminars will provide a creative forum to every student.

Library: Students are not allowed to enter the library without the Library cards.Every student should have to maintain silence in the library.Students should have to keep their belongings at the space provided (near the entrance).Students are not allowed to come with eatables and their mobile phones must be switched off during the time they are in the library.Shifting of chairs from one table to another is allowed but with no noise.Library books or Magazines for reading purpose are allowed within Library premises and that too on Library Cards. Library issue/return timings are 10:00 A.M.- 2:30 P.M.Maximum two books can be issued on a library card for the period of Fourteen days and Four books to Faculty Members for the period of 1 month and two books to Non-Teaching Staff for the period of a month.
Educational Technology laboratory: The college has well equipped Educational Technology laboratory with T.V., V.C.R., D.V.D., Camera, O.H.P., Slide Projecter, Radio cum Cassettee recorder and Public Addressing System etc.
Dispensary: The College has dispensary of its own which is managed by a part time trained Medical Assistant.
Sports Facilities: The College has dispensary of its own which is managed by a part time trained Medical Assistant.
Canteen: The College has spacious, clean and well maintained canteen in the campus.
