Shri Shivaji Maratha Society’s Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya was established in 1970. The Institution named after the great Warrior king of Maharashtra Shri Shivaji Maratha Society. Affiliated to University of Pune, the educational institution has gained the recognition from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal.

Laboratories:The lab is equipped with 25 computers. Where 50 students can learn at a time .The student- teachers are trained under the guidance. of experts in computer. The certificate course named MS-CIT is run by the college.
Library:The college has a full-fledged library with reference books, textbook, maps, magazines, weekly magazines, newspapers. The total number of reference books available in college is 12,500.Aset of textbooks of D.Ed. is provided to the each student of college for the whole year. The library is available for reference books and supplementary reading.
