The Chirala Engineering College was established in academic year 2001 by GSR & TSR Educational society with a clear objective of providing quality technical education in tune with international standards and contemporary global requirements. It is the first engineering college in Prakasam district to attain ISO:9001:2000 certification.
Cafeteria: The cafeteria is open to students, staff and any other visitors to the campus. It serves with quality and wholesome diet to the students. Its area is well suited to have a peaceful munch.
Transport: The Institute also provides transportation facilities for the convenience of staff and students to take them from all major destinations in Chirala and adjoining areas to the campus and back. Apart from this public transport services such as buses, jeeps & hiring tempos are also available with minimum cost for commuting between Chirala town and the campus. The college provides daily transport facility for the convenience of day scholars.
