College of Engineering Roorkee (COER) is located at Roorkee. The town of Roorkee, located on the national highway (NH-58) about 180 km north of Delhi, the capital of India, is known as the gateway to the Himalayan Ranges. Roorkee is well connected by rail and road from Delhi. There is frequent bus service to Roorkee from Delhi. Rail connections to Roorkee is on Howrah-Amritsar and Delhi-Dehradun Railway Lines. The COER campus, situated on NH-58, just 7 km from Roorkee offers an enchanting site with 75 acres of lush green pollution free environment. Affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU), Dehradun and recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), the campus provides an enchanting site on the busy highway that catches the eye of every passerby. The COER campus is meticulously constructed. The infrastructure and the academicians are providing the best of inputs for education and extracurricular activities. The campus perfectly build up with various sections including fully fascilated class-rooms, Laboratories, Computer Centre, Library, Hostels, Auditorium, and Student Centre as well as Sports Complex.

Laboratories: Two triple storey laboratory blocks located just behind the academic complex consist of twenty six laboratories, drawing hall and workshop. The laboratories are well equipped, keeping in view the training for the basics of the subjects and also the research and industrial requirements.
Workshops:The high roof workshop consists of shops in the field of fitting, carpentry, machine, smithy, forging, welding, tin-smithy, foundry and pattern making. Mechanical Machine Shop is equipped with Central Lathes, Shaping Machines, Drilling Machines, Electrical shops are fitted with both AC and DC motors, Generators and Alternators with instruments for Circuit and Systems labs.
Computer Centre:COER has a well equipped centralized computer centre to cater to the needs of students and faculty in the college. It is housed, in a magnificient state of the art building having specialized laboratories equipped with more than 700 dual coer computers to provide variety of plateforms and computing environment for UG & PG students.
Library:The library is provided with a lagre number of books on different subjects covering from recommended text books to other reference books, a large number of journals both natinoal and international including more than 500 on line journals
