RPS Group of Institutions was established in 2008 as RPS College of Engineering & Technology offering B.Tech. courses in Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology and Electronics & Communication Engineering. In 2010 RPS Institute of Management offering MBA, BBA & BCA degree was established. In 2011, both the institutes were merged and renamed as RPS Group of Institutions (Engineering & Management). In 2011, B.Tech. progamme in Civil Engineering was started. In 2012 , the institute was started M.Tech. programme in Computer Science & Engineering and Polytechnic Diploma (Engineering) programmes in Mechanical & Civil Engineering. In 2013 ,the institute is starting the B.Tech Programme in Electrical Engg. and Starting the M.Tech Programme in Electronics and Communication, M.Tech in Mechnical Engg.
The RPSGOI has highly qualified, dedicated faculty and committed supporting staff who along with state of the art laboratories are committed to develop the students as capable engineers and managers ready to serve as resource persons anywhere in India and abroad. The institute is equipped with sophisticated computer labs with more than 250 high quality Dual Core 2.70 GHz machines from HCL. Printers and scanners are provided in each and every lab and each computer is connected with high speed dedicated 2 mbps 1:1 bandwidth. All computer labs are connected with 24 Hrs uninterrupted power supply.
Hostel Facility
The college has separate hostels for Boys and Girls which are well equipped with all the modern facilities like water coolers, geysers, television, telephone, and air coolers for the students. The hostels fully equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity for Internet.
The Institute has a well established Training & Placement Cell. The Cell is headed by Prof. S.S.Yadav, who has vast experience in the relevant field. The cell continuously explores different areas of opportunities for placements. The cell takes special care to ensure that students are aware of the latest placement situations, opportunities and motivates them to work towards their respective goals. The Training & Placement Officer maintains liaison with industries for summer placement as well as final placement of students passing out from the college. Training & Placement cell also arranges guest lectures, workshops and seminars on career opportunities, entrepreneurship & personality development etc.
