Baselios Thomas I Catholicose College of Engineering and Technology

Baselios Thomas I Catholicose College of Engineering and Technology is a new generation Engineering college affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University with focus on "Excellance in Teaching". The college is ISO 9001:2008 certified and approved by AICTE. Baselios Thomas I Catholicos College of Engineering and Technology is situated in Arjun Hills, Koothattukulam on the Palai-Koothattukulam State Highway. The region borders Ernakulam, Kottayam and Idukki districts. The beautiful and the picturesque location of the institute is apt for pursuing higher education. The college is dedicated to provide excellent training to the aspiring youth of the society, irrespective of caste and creed. The patron and chairman of the college is Aboon Mor Dr.Baselios Thomas I, Catholicose of the East.

Library: The college library has a growing collection of about 5000 books in various branches of Engineering, Technology and Sciences. There are also plenty of volumes dealing with Social Sciences and Literature. Reputed National and International Journals are also subscribed to provide latest information on the various subjects of study. The library has subscribed e-journals of IEEE and ASME, J-GATE and so on.
Central Computing Facility: The college is equipped with more than 400 BTC branded computers across the campus, providing a wide range of services that includes, e-books, technical videos and internet access to the students as well as faculty and staff involved in research and other academic activities. Each faculty is provided with a work station networked through Linux servers and Microsoft Windows servers. The entire campus is connected through Wi-Fi network.
Language Lab: The language lab aims at improving the communication skills of the students. The language lab is equipped with the latest gadgets for providing effective training and practice in Communicative and Spoken English.
Transportation The college provides transportation facility for the students. Buses will be plying through Ernakulam, Ettumanoor, Kuruvilangadu, Muvattupuzha, Pala, Piravom, Ramapuram, Thodupuzha and Vazhithala.
Student Counseling Counseling is carried out periodically by experts to help students overcome their fears, anxieties and personal problems. The Counseling Cell enables the students to discuss their problems.
 
 Hostel Facility
Hostel facility is available for boys and girls. Currently only limited seats are available for hostel accommodation. Both AC and non-AC rooms on shared basis is available.
