The commitment towards excellence in Engineering and Technology development inspired the Muslim Educational Society ( MES ) to set up this Engineering College. Established in the year 2011, the college is situated on the banks of Periyar river in kunnukara , North Paravur.The college is approved by AICTE, Govt. of Kerala is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.This is the third Engineering Institute run and Managed by the MES Regd. founded in the year 1964.
Transportation:The college provides transportation facilities for staff and students by means of six buses owned by the college.
Canteen: The campus has a canteeen near the main block and is open from 08.00 to 17.00 hrs on all working days. A wide variety of homely foods are available. The food is provided at subsidized rates from the canteen.
Internet: MESCET has high speed internet access and is open to students and staff on all days except sundays and public holidays.Two leased line internet connections with bandwidth 2 Mbps & 10 Mbps is being catered across the campus, which is available for 24 hrs.
Labs and Workshop:The laboratories of all departments are well equipped with advanced equipments, modern softwares and sophisticated instrumentation systems.
Prayer Room: A room is reserved for the spiritual needs of the students and staff. Students are encouraged to spend some time everyday in the prayer room for their spiritual nourishment.
Guest House:The institute has a guest house with A/C rooms for visiting faculties and guests.
Medical Facilities:A qualified medical practitioner is available for medical treatment in the campus. The campus is situated at a distance of 500m from Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Science.
Hostel Facility
Seperate hostel facilities are arranged for boys and girls at affordable rates outside the college campus , fully under the control of the college.
Scholarship Facility
There is a provision for scholarship to meritorious students.The nature & quantum will be decided by the Managing Committee from time to time.
