Formerly known as NYSS College of Engineering and Research, RGCER was established in 2008. The College conceived with a belief that quality education only can bring about true transformation of the huge human resource of our nation which then started its journey towards excellence with a vision of providing good quality education, discipline & welfare to the students & staff.
Computer Facility: Excellent internet surfing facility with a speed of 40 MBPS is provided to the students and staff. The internet facility is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These help students to interact with their counterparts anywhere concerning their project, technical paper presentation and research works.
Library Facility: The collection of the library which includes books, journals, Projectreports, and Bound volumes of journals, some of the rare reference materials,e-journals, e-books , video lecture of NPTEL.
Language lab Facility: Teaching Communication skills becomes more proficient with audio-visual aid. This led to the conception of the language lab. We have installed Sanako Study 1200 Language Lab Software. The present language lab is equipped with 30 computers and 30 headphones. This software is especially useful for phonetics as accents and intonations of students can be corrected.
Gymnasium : The college has its own Gymnasium equipped with all the modern health instruments. All health savvy students make use of this facility to maintain physical and mental fitness.

All the students of RGCER have been covered under Group Insurance Scheme to cover all type of risks.
We have well maintained canteen where a number of dishes are offered at reasonable rates. Proper cleanliness with appropriate care for hygiene is maintained.
Medical facilities: Medical facilities are available in the college campus on round the clock basis. Datta Meghe Ayurved Hospital, existing in the college campus, caters the medical requirements / emergencies of students and staff.
College bus facility is provided to all the students at affordable rates. Yearly pass to use the bus facility can be obtained from college office after paying the prescribed charges.
RGCER has fully air conditioned conference hall, Group Discussion hall and Seminary Halls, with advanced multimedia projector. Special e-Classrooms at RGCER use the 'technology in teaching' concept with multimedia equipment, LCD projectors and screens.
RGCER recently got renovated an air cooled ‘Datta Meghe Auditorium’ adjacent to college building with accommodating capacity of around 500 students at a time. This auditorium is used for organizing major events covered under extra-curricular activities of the institute.
Hostel Facility
The Institute has arrangement for Boys’ Hostel in campus at Vivekananda Hostel managed by the NYSS. The hostel accommodates as many as 255 students. The hostel provides meditation center, gymnasium, library, cable TV, dispensary & 24x7 Internet facilities.
The institute also has arrangement for Girls’ hostel named Savitribai Phule Girls’ hostel, with the capacity of 100 students, located at Plot No. 136/4, Bhamti Parsodi, in front of Anand Purti Bazar, Sahakar Nagar, Khamla Road, Nagpur".
