Higher Secondary/ +2/XII standards examination conducted by the boards/departments recognized by Universities in Kerala or equivalent there to with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects and obtain not less than 50% marks in Mathematics, and 50% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together or Diploma examination in Engineering, or any examination accepted by Govt. of Kerala as equivalent there to with 50% marks in the final qualifying of examination subject to the usual concessions allowed for backward and other communities a specified by the Government from time to time.

Common Entrance Examination conducted by the Kerala State entrance commissioner.

The branch has 60 seats. Of these 50% of the seats will be filled up by the management and remaining 50% are filled up from the list of candidates supplied by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Govt. of Kerala.

Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on a 31st December of the current academic year.
