RCOEM, situated in the heart of India in Nagpur city, was established in 1984 by Shri Ramdeobaba Sarvajanik Samiti, a trust which has been involved in community service for over four decades. 27 years of existence has helped RCOEM grow deep roots and establish a strong foundation in technical education. Journey of a student in this institute has always involved comprehensive knowledge building from practical skills, theoretical knowledge to personality development, which has given them a head-start in their career.
Library:The library with an area of 878 sq. mt. is spread over two floors of the main building. It offers open access to all students and stocks 66,229 including Engg., MCA, & MBA books, valued over Rs.1 Crore 66 lakhs. ( approx.)
It subscribes to 135 National and 19114 On-line e-journals. The total procurement cost of Engg., MCA, & MBA books, print journals & e-journals is Rs. 2 Crore 52 lakhs.( approx.)
Hostel Facility
The Institute provides excellent hostel facility within the campus for the students who wish to avail the campus residential facility. The boys’ hostel is located at the rear end of the college while the girls’ hostel is situated near the Ramdeobaba temple. There are two hostel buildings for boys’ with a capacity to accommodate around 420 students. All students will be provided with double occupancy rooms. Girls’ hostel houses 132 students based on triple and double occupancy.
Training and Placement function provides a window of opportunities to the Students over a wide variety of Careers in a broad spectrum of Industries/Organizations in India and Abroad. It serves as a Single point of Contact for the Organizations on various Industry-Institute Initiatives like Industrial Training, Guest Lectures, FDP’s, Alumni Lectures
