PSCMR College of Engineering & Technology is SKPVV Hindu High Schools Committee’s latest contribution to the cause of education, this time in a new discipline – Engineering & Technology. This shows the Committee’s eagerness to promote education in as many different areas as possible. The Committee, a non-profit academic organization that had been managing very successfully only schools and arts & science colleges till 2008, then extended its educational service activities to technology education area, and that led to the starting that year, of Potti Sriramulu & chalavadi mallikarjuna Rao College of Engg & Technology — almost the first such institute with in the Vijayawada city limits./The college is affiliated to JNTU (K) made a modest beginning with an intake of 240 students, 60 each in the branches of ECE, CSE, EEE and IT. MBA course was added the next year, that is, in 2008. Making steady progress, it has now on its rolls 1200 students in two sections of ECE and CSE each, and one section each in EEE and IT. In only its fourth year of functioning, the college has shown its potential for excellence in academics, as shown in the success rate of the students, and is making all out efforts to secure placement for its students.

Transportation: Potti Sriramulu Chalavadi Mallikharjuna Rao College of Engineering and Technology provides faculty and students with transportation services from all parts of the city to the campus
Digital Library: PSCMRCET has large spacious air conditioned Labs where every student works on an independent cutting edge PC with high-end graphic cards, large hard drives and equipped with all necessary software. The labs also offer numerous general-purpose software packages and tools.
library : A spacious, well stocked central library a real treasure house of knowledge with number of volumes, International and National journals of repute caters to the needs of the students of all branches. Almost all the newspapers and magazines are available for the students to access. Apart from this the library is also accessed to ‘EKALAVYA’ channal to down load the lectures of eminent professors and scholars from IITs and IIMs.
