VPV College of Engineering is run by VPV Charity, a trust formed to promote education in the rural areas in Theni District. The College started enrollment from the academic year 2011-12 and has a spacious campus of 10.80 acres with a pleasant view of the majestic Western Ghats to its opposite.
Library: The Library of our college is housed in the first floor in an area of 16945 sq.ft. (1575 sq.m.). The main aim of the central library is to provide information services and access to print and e-resources to support the informational needs of the student community. The fully-Computerized Central Library is well-equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of books, printed and electronic journals, CD-ROMs, on-line databases, audio-video cassettes , project reports etc. Open Access System is being followed to access the books and journals.
Canteen: A cafe’teria is functioning in the campus for the benefit of Staff & Students. This is situated adjacent to the Main Block. Spacious, airy & trendy cafe’teria offers ample scope for students to break free from their arduous schedules and enjoy sumptuous food in an extremely casual yet pleasant ambiance.
Internet: 12 Mbps of Internet bandwidth availability to the WIFI campus is ensured through dedicated leased line from BSNL. The entire campus is connected to this line.
Transport: The College has a fleet of buses, vans and cars to transport students and staff from different places in and around Theni and Dindigul Districts to college and back. These buses are operated along different routes starting from different locations to the college.
Hostel Facility
VPVCE Students Hostel is an integral part of the college campus. It has two distinct sections for Boys and Girls. All men and women residents of the hostel are provided rooms on a triple sharing basis. All common areas like dining, washrooms, lobby, terrace, etc. are provided separately for Men’s and Women’s Hostels.
