Pandian Saraswathi Yadav Engineering College was started in the year 2000 by a successful NRI entrepreneur 'Hind Rattan' Malaysia S. Pandian, the Chairman, PSYEC with a vision to educate more rural students in the field of engineering and technology in order to pave the way for industrial prosperity and socio - economic development of the country
Library: Central library has more than 25,000 volumes and subscribed for 110 National and International journals. Open access system is followed in the library.
Laboratories:All the departments are well equipped with various Laboratories to meet the requirements of university curriculum. The Department conducts National Level Symposium every year.
The Library also subscribes to more than 200 IEEE e-Journals through the INDEST-AICTE Consortium MEMBERSHIP. The library services are fully automated with homemade software with barcode facilities. It fulfills the needs of its Students, faculty members and researcher scholars with modern collection, knowledge resources and innovative information services. Its plays an essential role for the upliftment of users community and their intellectual pursuits.
Hostel Facility
There are separate hostels for men and women in the campus, with all the necessary facilities.
