The PIET, located in the National Capital Region is established in the year 2009 by Panchwati Education and Social Welfare Trust under the Self Financing Scheme of Govt. of India. PIET has an intensive academic environment that brings out the best in the students. It lays claim to the finest faculty in the region, offers the best laboratory infrastructure. It also has the well stocked library with over 5,000 volumes and subscribes to a number of journals.The PIET has been chosen 6 Kms from the Meerut city on Delhi-Haridwar bypass to provide a healthy learning environment to the students. The institute also enjoys its close proximity to Ghaziabad, Noida and Delhi which facilitates frequent industrial visits to the students. The institute takes pride in its motto "PASSION FOR PROGRESS" through exchange of knowledge and experience of expert teaching and management fertility.

Library: The PIET library is well stocked with books of Indian and Foreign authors with varied titles catering to the requirement of all the students. Besides the books the library subscribes to professional Engineering journals and magazines.The library is provided with Internet facilities for down loading additional information by accessing e-journals and other web-sites. The reference section of Library has rich collection of Reference Books.
Mess & Cafeteria: Institute canteen provides the refreshment facilities for the students and staff. The Mess is fitted with gas-cooking burners, modern pantry, automatic dish-washer and an appealing dinning-hall with charming chairs.The menu well be decided by the Mess-Committee.There is a cafeteria in the PIET campus with facilities of STD, Fax, light refreshment and nitty-gritty items of daily use.
Transportation: The institute provides bus facility on major routes of Meerut for students and staff members.
