Karaikal Campus was established in the year 2007 in Karaikal to cater to the local demands of the Karaikal region, as Karaikal is poised to become a trade centre with major port. It is presently located in the campus of the Preunthalaivar Kamarajar College of Education, Karaikal.
The Karaikal campus has modernized infrastructure with well equipped library, Centralized Computer Lab with Internet facility, Overhead and LCD Projector for presentation and teaching.
Computer Lab: A centralized lab facility is provided to the students with adequate number of systems with internet facility along with other two departments in the centre.
Library: A centralized library with adequate books is available for students’ reference and journals, dailies and e- resource has to be made available.
The department has placed 100% of the Students in summer and winter projects so far and is committed to place them permanently in the industries like reputed insurance companies, insured client organizations, insured as well as the consultancy organisation and their vertical. In the academic year 2009-2010 the students were placed in reputed companies like Max New York Life, ICICI Lombard, Birla Sun Life, Bajaj Allianz, New India Assurance Company Ltd, Kotak Mahindra, TATA AIG, HDFG Standard Life, ONGC, Airport Authority of India, AON Consultancy, Ernst & Young, United India Insurance company Ltd, Henkel, Ramco, Delloitte, etc.
