The hostels have self-contained three-bedded rooms which are spacious, airy and provide for a great view. They come with the basic amenities like bed, table, chair, small cupboard and electrical fittings with 24 hour water supply. Hostel residents and staff members have the laundry facilities on campus. A recreation hall with facilities for indoor games like chess, carom is there for their leisure time. One T.V. per block is also provided. Single or two-seater rooms can be provided with additional charges on request by the students or their parents, depending on the availability of vacant rooms.
Private rented accommodations are also available in Durgapur. Students with their own transport can also elect to live in nearby Biddhannagar or City Centre.
