Govt. College Hodal, prior to 1980 known as Braj Mandal College, was started in 1968. The college is situated 27 kms away from Palwal towards Mathura on Delhi-Agra National Highway No.2 surrounded by greenery in the pollution free atmosphere. Inspite of being in rural area, the college has ample infrastructure for higher pursuit of education and learning.In the begining affiliated to Punjab and Kurukshetra University, the institute is presently affiliated to M.D.University Rohtak since 08/11/1978.It's rally a matter of pride that you are blessed with the opportunity to read and write, because this is the characterstic of human beings which is not found in other species in this universe. The college Keeping in view the increasing number of students and cut throat competition, the college administration is active in providing more and more facilities and infrastructure to the students. The college has been assessed by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Banglore India in 2003.
The library of the college has around 15,000 books. The library has subscription for 15 magezines and 15 newspapers. There is a provision of Book-Bank in the library for needy students. Students can take the books from Book-Bank for the whole session.
