Chitkara University was established by the Punjab State Legislature under “The Chitkara University Act”.Chitkara Educational Trust established its Punjab campus 30 kilometers from Chandigarh, on the Chandigarh–Patiala National Highway INn the year 2010.
Libraries:The University libraries offer a wide range of materials in a variety of formats—from traditional books and serials to films, and multimedia and networked information from around the world. Highly skilled staff assists students to use the local collections and find information on specific topics.
Laboratories: Chitkara University has over 200 state-of-the-art laboratories that allow the students to experiment and bring to practice what they have learnt in theory
