Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya was established in 1965 by Late Bhagirath Kanoria in aesthetic environs at Jawahar Lal Nehru Marg as the first institution of higher education for women through grant-in-aid from the Government of Rajasthan. In its 52 years old journey our college has achieved many milestones. It is a leading college not only of the city but also of the state of Rajasthan in imparting excellent education, enabling holistic development and inculcating leadership and social values. The college has earned a prestigious reputation of harnessing a progressive outlook towards education by introducing new courses at UG and PG level, from time-to-time, skill enhancement and (21st Century for skills) career oriented courses, ICT enabled teaching facilities, outreach activities and discipline. About 6500 students enroll every year in 24 subjects in Science, Arts and Commerce streams for Bachelor's programme and 11 Master's programme. Maintaining a lead in premier educational location, the college has clocked an enviable growth keeping abreast with the needs and aspirations of times.
Library: The library, with a rich collection of nearly 60,000 books, journals and magazines, has a good reading ambience. It is computerized and user friendly with IFW Edutech software. Online terminals at the entrance facilitate direct access to the library catalogue. OPAC helps search books by the title,author's name, keyword, publisher, subject etc. The library offers 93 national and international journals/magazines. 10 Sage Publication journals can be accessed online. Library is the member of N-LIST Project entitled "National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content", being jointly executed by the UGC-INFONET Digital Library Consortium, INFLIBNET Centre and the INDEST-AICTE Consortium, IIT-Delhi. This Project provides eccess to E-Resourse (6000 E-Journals and 97000 E-books) to students ,resesrchers and faculty members from college through servers installed at the INFLIBNET Centre.The library has internet facility also.Students can borrow books from the book-bank on a yearly basis till the annual examinations.
Laboratories: The college has well equipped labs for subjects like Biotechnology, Botany,Chemistry, Enviornmental Science, Geography, Home Science, Physics, Psychology and Zoology as well as lab assistants to help students with their practicals.The college has an Art room to facilitate the department of Drawing and Painting and a Music room for Music department.
Canteen: The college has a cafeteria where students can relax, chat, laugh, share experiences and lecture notes over a cup of tea/coffee. A variety of healthy snacks, mini-meals,dairy products and fresh fruit juices are available.
Swimming Pool: The college has a clean swimming pool with an automatic filteration plant and a qualified female coach to train the students.

The hostel has made a name for itself because of its clean environs, nutritious food, airy and spacious rooms.
