Anand Vihar College for Women was established on 19th July , 1999 by Vanita Samaj.It is a proud offspring of Vanita Samaj,a society of women dedicated to social cause.Vanita Samaj, Bhopal, runs the college. Registered under Madhya Pradesh society Registrikaran Adhiniyam(Registration Number 36-1961-62).The college is affiliated to Barkatullah University Bhopal.

Placement Service Available: The placement cell of the Institute centrally handles all the aspects of campus placements for graduating students of all departments. The placement cell members assist in arranging Pre-placement talks, written tests, Group Discussions, and interviews etc. are made as per requirements of the organizations.The Placement Cell is headed by a committee that exerts itself in order to maintain the high level of interaction enjoyed by the companies with the students, thereby helping the latter to develop successful job strategies and career wise decision-making and other skills commensurate with the expectations of the industry. The members in-charge are available on call to respond to students questions and concerns including advice on placement procedures, help with preparation of applications, curriculum vitae and reference letters etc.
