Assam down town University is the second Private University in Assam, set up with an aim to establish a renowned/world class Educational Campus in the North East Region of the country. Established by down town Charity Trust, Assam down town University is one of the largest educational projects in the North East and equip with highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty, state of the art infrastructure which enables students to meet the varied challenging requirements. Scholarship Facility
Result Scholarship: These Scholarships are provided to the toppers of the respective university''s annual or semester examinations. The scholarship can be up to 50% of the semester fees and will be valid for the semester subsequent to the one in which the result was scored.
Merit Scholarship: These Scholarships will be provided to meritorious students, from relatively economically backward families. The scholarship can be up to 100% and will be decided case to case basis, by a special committee appointed by the university. The student has to provide documentation of his academic performance as well as family income and background.
Sports and Extracurricular Scholarship: The University also has provision for Scholarships for sports and other extracurricular activities.
