Leveraging its location advantage, the institute and its pupil get a chance to witness the daily operations of the Airport and Aircraft movements very closely. Bharat Institute of Aeronautics is duly approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India to conduct 3 years Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Basic) course in all streams and in line with norms and requirements of International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).Established in 1981 and ideally situated in premises of Jai Prakash Narayan International Airport Patna.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering

1 .	Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
	Eligibility The applicant should have passed minimum 10+2/Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognised Board or University or its equivalent.
	Duration 3 years basic AME course including 2½ years of Theoretical & Practical training and 6 months on the job training
	Admission Procedure Applicants will be called for entrance test and counselling, and seats and stream will be allotted based on interview and merit.

	Other Details After successful completion of three years basic AME course including 2½ years of Theoretical & Practical training and six months on the job training on fully operational aircrafts, one gets the Basic AME License (BAMEL) from DGCA.
