Its permanent campus is located on Yerpedu-Venkatagiri Road, Yerpedu Post, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh-517619. IIT Tirupati began functioning from the academic year of 2015-16 and since then it has grown by leaps and bounds. IIT Tirupati has 9 departments – Civil & Environmental Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics & Statistics, Physics, Chemistry and Humanities & Social Sciences.
