J B Institute of Technology, Dehradun was established in 2009. JBIT has turned to be one of the premier private engineering institute of Uttarakhand. 25-acre campus of JBIT, located at foothills of Himalaya is home to a large number of students coming from different states of India

 Hostel Facility
Hostels have been designed to accommodate students as per the Choice in a single bedded cubicle room, double bedded and triple bedded. Institute can accommodate 180 people at a time for breakfast, lunch, dinner etc. with separate arrangement for teacher, staff, students and visitors. Institute provides a pollution free environment to the Students.
 
 Scholarship Facility
JB Institute of Technology,Dehradun has its full fledged very active Training and Placement Cell which facilitates best career prospects to the engineering . The prime objective of the Training and placement cell is to maintain strong industry Institute linkages and strive for the overall development & grooming of the students according to the Industry requirements by conducting qualitative interventions in sync with the identified industry manpower needs , Symposia, Seminars and conferences both at National and International level.
