1 .	Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Bioinformatics
	Eligibility Second class M.Sc. with a minimum of 55% marks in Biological, Agricultural or Physical Sciences, in addition to some computer application course OR a second class with a minimum of 55% in computer sciences with a sound background of modern biology
	Duration 1 year
	Admission Procedure By a National Entrance Test for which the question paper consists of 100 objective type questions in biology, chemistry and basic computer sciences

2 .	M.Sc. Biochemistry
	Eligibility B.Sc with 60% marks
	Duration 2 years

3 .	M.Sc. Biotechnology
	Eligibility Bachelor's degree in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering / Technology, 4 years B.Sc (Physician Assistant Course) or medicine (MBBS) or B.D.S with at least 55% marks
	Duration 2 years
	Admission Procedure Selection is based on National Entrance Test conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi as part of the Biotechnology program supported by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt of India.

4 .	Ph.D. Biotechnology
	Eligibility Second class Master's degree in Biotechnology or in a closely related area with atleast 55% marks OR an M.B.B.S, M. Tech., M.Pharm, M.V.Sc.. with minimum of 55% marks
	Admission Procedure Admission is based on an entrance examination and interview conducted by the Department. Candidates who are qualified in the NET examination (under Junior Research Fellowship category only) conducted by the CSIR/UGC or ICMR or DBT are exempted from the entrance examination
