Library:
The college has a well-improvised library with a good collection of books covering a wide variety of subjects.
UGC Network Resource Centre:
The students and staff of this college can avail the internet facility in the centre for academic purposes on payment of Rs.10/- for half an hour or part thereof. The payment is to be made at the cash counter and a coupon is to be procured and this should be produced to the librarian.
Xerox Machine:
One photo copier has been installed in the college. Students can copy any kind of study material at a concessional rate.
Games and Sports:
Nabinchandra College offers facilities for cricket, football, volleyball, badminton,carrom,chess etc. The college has its own playground in front of the college building in which the annual sports are held. Many more facilities are being procured.
Book Bank:
The College has started a Book-Bank from where needy students will be supplied with books.
Computer Laboratory:
A computer laboratory in the college was opened during the session 2001-2002 for academic and administrative use.
College Magazine:
To enable the students publish their creative writings, a college magazine is brought out annually. A sum of Rs 40/-(Rupees forty) only is collected from each student on this score. Departmental journals will be brought out to encourage creative/critical writings among the students.
Canteen:
The college has canteen facility for refreshment of Students & Teachers.
Gymnasium:
A Yoga and Gymnasium centre has been opened in the college in the year 2006 with a qualified instructor to promote physical and mental welbeing of the students. A student can use the services of the centre with a payment of Rs. 80.00 for one year. Students and employees willing to use the centre for Yoga and Gym training may contact the instructor.
Health Centre:
A health centre has been set up with facilities like first-aid and periodic health check-up for the students and other members of the college community. Dr. Swapan Das, M.B.B.S., consultant physician, has signed a MOU with the college authorities to provide support to the centre.
Auditorium:
A large auditorium complex on the eastern side of the college is under construction. The construction work is likely to be completed soon.
Overhead Projector:
The college owns an overhead projector. The projector will be a very useful aid in the conduct of different meetings, seminars, workshops etc. in the college.
Sound System:
The college owns a sound system which will be useful for special purposes like holding guest lecture, workshop etc.
Drinking Water:
The college has installed a drinking water system in its campus for providing drinking water to the students and the staff. The system has been installed with financial assistance from Barak Valley Cements Ltd., Badarpur.
Generator:
The college has recently installed a high powered generator to ensure uninterrupted power supply in view of frequent power cuts.
Departmental Library:
The college will shortly provide for departmental library which will be under the supervision of the Head of the different departments.
Scholarship Facility
Scholarship in the name and style of Doreen Scholarship has been launched in 2005-2006 academic session for the students of this college who secure two highest aggregate marks (in both general and female categories) in the H.S. examination every year in the following subjects : English, Bengali, Political Science and Economics.
Placement cell headed by Debojyoti Dasgupta, Senior Lecturer, Department of Political Science will offer guidance regarding admission to various courses of studies and employment opportunities to the present students of this college, and others to the extent possible.
