Women's College was established in 1965 in Agartala, Tripura with a view to render services to the cause of Higher Education among women of Tripura, particularly those belonging to the tribal and backward communities of the State. The students generally hail from diverse economic social and cultural background making this institution an ideal place for the fulfillment of aspirations and expectations of the womenfolk of the State Women's College has been accredidated by NAAC considering academic & other extra curricular activities.
