Bankura Christian College

Bankura Christian College as a premier higher education institution is now a brand name in academia. In 1961 it was affiliated to the University of Burdwan. Presently the college is affiliated to Bankura University (Since 2017).

College Library: A stock of more than 65,000 books including some very rare and resourceful books now out of print. In addition the library subscribes thirty one academic Journals. There is an online access to inflibnet.org. The reading room (960 sq. ft) provides the students as well as the teachers adequate space for reading comfortably. In addition to the Central Library all the science departments as well as the Department of English (UG & PG) have their own Departmental Library furnished with adequate books, e-books, and Journals.
Laboratory: The College has fully equipped laboratories for students to do experiments as a part of their practical classes and for the teachers to conduct their research.
Gymnasium: The college has a 8 station Gymnasium which is used by the students for physical exercise. Male and female students have separate schedule for practice.
Student Health Centre: centre for counselling and health services The college has free health centre which gives the facility free medical checkup to its students every Friday and Tuesdayfrom 2.30 to 4.00 pm.
Wi-Fi Campus: Wi-fi facility in the college campus is a milestone in the history of this institution as it puts the college on the road to paperless administration and functioning.
Canteen: The college has separate canteens for students and staff. The students' canteen is located near the college tank. In the canteen premises there is a small garden.
 
 Hostel Facility
Presently 2 Hostels for boys and 2 for girls are available for both UG, PG and also for B.P.Ed students.
 
 Scholarship Facility
The college endeavours to make its educational services available to the students from low income families by providing generous concessions in the form of Half Free/ Full Free Studentship .
