The college is affiliated to R.T. M. Nagpur University. It started in 2008 under the name “College of Computer and Management Studies & Research”. In 2013 the name has been changed to “SUDHA SURESHBHAI MANIAR COLLEGE OF COMPUTER AND MANAGEMENT” after our patron “Sudha Sureshhai Maniar”. It is run by Shri Nagpur Gujrati Mandal, which is a linguistic minority charitable organization.

	Eligibility TAn applicant shall have passed the XII Standard Examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, with English at Higher or Lower level and any Modern Indian Language at higher or lower level with any combination of optional subjects. OR XII Standard Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in Vocational Stream with one language only; OR any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto; in such subjects and with such standards of attainments as may be prescribed Minimum Competition vocation course (MCVC). OR Any other Equivalent Examination of any State in (10+2) pattern with English & any combination of subjects.
