Upendra Pai Memorial College

U.P.M. College is an institution offering courses leading to the Degree of Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Business Management of Mangalore University. The College is sponsored by Dr. T.M.A. Pai Foundation, a Konkani Linguistic Minority Trust which was established in 1981 to perpetuate the memory of Dr. T. M. A. Pai, the founder of the internationally famous Educational Complex at Manipal. The College which was established in July 1991 with the name 'College of Commerce and Business Management' has been renamed as Upendra Pai Memorial College from the academic year 1997-98, to commemorate the birth centinary of late Upendra Pai, the elder brother of late Dr. T.M.A. Pai who was the backbone of all activities of Dr. T.M.A. Pai in the field of Banking and Education. The college is situated in a quiet campus at Kunjibettu, about 2 kilometres from Udupi on the Udupi Manipal Road near the Vaikunta Baliga College of Law and Dr. T.M.A. Pai College of Education.
