An institution that trives towards excellence with indefatigable zeal, K.G. College had its beginning. way back in 1981 in the ITC building at Pothenpuram, close to the sacred tomb of Pampady Thirumeni in whose hallowed name the college was established. On 14th September 1981, the foundation stone of the new college building was laid and within a year, the college was shifted to the new premises. The three decades that followed witnessed the success saga of the college. Today K.G. College has acquired fame and name as one of the best colleges under the Mahatma Gandhi University.
